If there is a lot to explain

Write it down.

The intake form asks the handful of things that decide whether GMZ is right for the job: the town, what sort of property it is, what you are thinking of, and when. It takes a few minutes and it saves a phone call spent establishing the same facts.

The mailing address is a post office box. GMZ is a landscape contractor rather than a shop, so there is nothing to visit: the useful meeting happens on your property, not at ours.

Before you call

Two things worth knowing.

The first visit has a price

A design consultation is $175 and covers the first hour on the property. If the visit runs past the hour, we agree the extra time with you first. Pricing the upkeep of a garden that already exists is a separate $75 walk. Neither is credited toward a later stage, so what you pay for is the visit itself. We work well beyond the towns listed; there, a $100 travel charge applies once, on the first visit, outside the towns listed.
